## 사진에 헐레이션을 더하는 방법

1. 사진을 선택하거나 도구 위에 놓으세요. 야경, 역광, 물 위의 햇빛에서 번짐이 가장 잘 드러납니다.
2. 밝기로 어떤 빛이 번질지, 강도로 번짐의 세기를, 반경으로 닿는 거리를 정하세요.
3. 빨강, 주황, 호박색 중에서 고르고 채도를 맞춘 뒤 원본 보기를 눌러 비교하세요.
4. JPEG 또는 PNG를 고르고 사진 저장을 누르세요.

## 헐레이션이란

헐레이션은 아주 밝은 빛 주위에서 필름에 생기는 번짐입니다. 빛이 유제를 지나 필름 뒷면에서 반사된 뒤 조금 떨어진 곳에서 다시 올라오는데, 이때 붉은색에 반응하는 층에 가장 먼저 닿습니다. 그래서 가로등, 물 위의 해, 밝은 창문에는 붉은색에서 주황색에 이르는 부드러운 빛무리가 생기고, 나머지는 그대로 남습니다. 디지털 센서에는 이런 층이 없어서 이 번짐이 필름처럼 느껴집니다.

## 도구가 만드는 방식

1. 빛을 찾습니다. 밝기 수준을 넘는 모든 부분이며, 하얗게 날아간 램프는 밝은 벽보다 훨씬 크게 치고, 어두운 방에서 또렷이 떠오르는 램프는 날아가지 않았어도 빛으로 칩니다.
2. 그 빛을 반경만큼 퍼뜨립니다. 반경은 원본 크기 사진의 픽셀 수입니다.
3. 주변으로 넘쳐 흐른 빛만 보이므로, 번짐은 빛 주위와 밝은 가장자리를 따라 나타나고 램프의 면이나 고르게 밝은 하늘에는 생기지 않습니다.
4. 고른 색으로 번짐을 더하면서 그 반대색을 눌러 두기 때문에, 흰 벽 위의 번짐도 붉게 보입니다. 번짐이 닿지 않는 부분은 그대로 남습니다.

## 자연스럽게 만드는 팁

- 번짐은 빛 위에만: 램프, 창문, 하이라이트만 번질 때까지 밝기를 올리세요.
- 반경은 픽셀 단위라서 큰 사진일수록 큰 반경이 어울립니다. 1200만 화소 휴대폰 사진에는 60이 알맞습니다.
- 진짜 헐레이션은 은은합니다. 낮게 시작해서 눈에 띄기 직전에 멈추세요.

**헐레이션 도구는 무료인가요? 사진이 업로드되나요?**

무료이며 계정도 워터마크도 없습니다. 사진은 브라우저 안에서, 인터넷 연결이 허용되지 않은 페이지 영역에서 처리되므로 기기 밖으로 나가지 않습니다.

**어떤 사진을 쓸 수 있나요?**

브라우저가 열 수 있는 사진이면 됩니다. JPEG, PNG, WebP는 어디서나, HEIC는 Safari처럼 지원하는 브라우저에서 쓸 수 있습니다. 50MB까지입니다. 40메가픽셀까지는 원본 크기로, 그 이상은 브라우저가 처리할 수 있는 최대 크기로 저장되며, 더 작아지면 페이지에 표시됩니다.

**사진의 메타데이터가 남나요?**

남지 않습니다. 위치, 카메라, 날짜 정보는 저장한 파일에 복사되지 않으며, 결과는 sRGB로 저장됩니다.

**xMosaique 앱의 헐레이션과 같은가요?**

## WebMCP

- `add_halation`: Add a film halation glow (a red to orange halo around bright lights) to a photo and return the result, with the same model and settings as the xMosaique app's halation. The photo is processed locally in this page and is not uploaded. It is also shown on the page.
  - `image` (string, required): The photo as base64 or a data: URL (JPEG, PNG or WebP; HEIC where the browser can open it).
  - `name` (string): File name, for the result's name.
  - `saturation` (number, 0–100): How coloured the glow is: 100 is the full film colour, 0 a white glow. Default 100.
  - `brightness` (number, 0–255): The level, on the photo's 0–255 scale, above which lights glow. Lower makes more of the picture glow; 250 keeps it to the brightest lights. Default 166.
  - `intensity` (number, 0–100): How strong the glow is; 0 is no change. Default 50.
  - `radius` (number, 5–100): How far the glow reaches, in pixels of the full-size photo (60 suits a 12-megapixel photo). Default 60.
  - `color` (string: red | orange | amber): Glow colour (default red).
  - `format` (string: jpeg | png): Format of the result (default: the page's, jpeg until changed).
  - `max_edge` (number): Long edge of the returned image in pixels (default 2048). The person can still save the full size from the page.
  - Returns: The image (base64, image/jpeg or image/png), then a line with its file name, size and the settings used. Or a line starting `Error:`.
- `set_halation_settings`: Set the halation sliders on this page for the person using it; the preview updates. Returns the settings now in effect and whether a photo is open.
