Any Adobe Camera Raw or Lightroom .xmp preset file. 13 looks ship with the app, and the engine reads tone curves, HSL, colour grading, split toning, detail and effects settings, plus linear, radial, luminance-range and colour-range masks.

Three ways: the iOS Files picker (which includes iCloud Drive), or an in-app sign-in to Google Drive or OneDrive that finds your .xmp files and imports several at once. Neither cloud app needs to be installed.

Yes. xMosaique reads .xmp files itself and asks for no Adobe account, sign-in or subscription. The 13 bundled looks work out of the box, and any .xmp preset you already own — bought, downloaded or exported by someone else — imports the same way.

Some of them. Linear gradients, radial gradients and luminance- and colour-range masks are read and applied live, along with the adjustments inside them. AI masks, people masks and brush strokes are not: those are selections made against one finished photograph, not against a live camera feed.

Yes, at full precision. The viewfinder runs the preset as a 3D LUT on the GPU for speed; the capture re-runs the same processing in floating point over the uncompressed sensor frame. Halation and grain use identical maths in both paths, so the shot matches what you framed.

Yes. With a look active, RAW mode saves exactly two files: the 48 MP ProRAW DNG — untouched sensor data — and the photo with the preset applied. Turn the look off and you just get the DNG.

No. The ProRAW DNG is never written to, and Keep Unprocessed Original is on by default, so a clean copy of the frame is saved alongside the processed one. You can switch that off in Settings if you would rather keep only the processed shot.

The iPhone version needs iOS 18.0 or later. An Android version is in development — sign-up details will land here once it is ready. There is no web version.

No. Nothing is uploaded. Capture and processing happen entirely on your device, photos go straight to your library, and the app contains no analytics, tracking or advertising code. If you sign in to Google Drive or OneDrive to import presets, that token is stored in the iOS Keychain on your phone and used only to read .xmp files.
